MAYBE WE AREN'T AS UNITED AS WE ONCE WERE:
Frankly I don't care.
THIS IS AMERICA and GOD SHED HIS GRACE ON THEE
We are all Americans;
from the legal to the illegal, Aliens, Visitors, Strangers and Otherwise.
We're a land we make as we live with each other each day;
and some of us die.
BUT we are still America.
It doesn't matter to me where you come from or where your going;
God shed His Grace on Thee if you are in AMERICA.
It isn't liberty and it isn't tyranny;
It's America and it's what we make of it today.
We Celebrate because we can, so we do.
No not just where we come from;
No not just where we are;
No not just where we are going.
No not just for someone who chose to be enlisted;
as though no one else were hero's.
No not just for the dead no matter the reason they died.
This is America and we celebrate it because we can and we do.
It is true, we aren't United.
But that is also true about why we are more than the United States.
We are Americans and God Shed His Grace on Us;
Whether you know that or not.
