LastGenReport: The Real Health Care Issue

As We Reported

We are the answer,

but the question you aren’t asking is

Am I my Brothers Keeper?

YES YOU ARE

The World Order wants you as an activist. The World Order wants you political. The World Order wants you to have a “world vision” because the World Order wants you just like the World. If that’s what you want, participate in the Prophecy sites and Religious Leaders who have you busy about Politics, Hate, Division, Strife, Anger, Wrath, Malice, Challenging Authority and distraction by phony articles on meaningless issues “contrived” to appeal, but no biblical value.

Or you can be the solution to the Health Care Debate.

Don’t be in it.

Be about Your Fathers business.

We aren’t. We are Christians. We have the Answer and it has nothing to do with the way the world does things.

Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Joel Ario admires the concept of individuals helping each other, but he says health care sharing systems like Samaritan Ministries are not like the insurance policies most people are accustomed to.

March 12, 2010

As policymakers in Washington, D.C., debate overhauling health care, several evangelical Christian groups have found a way of getting around the high cost of health insurance. Instead of paying premiums, they simply agree to pay each other's medical bills.

The groups are not regulated because unlike insurance there's no guarantee an individual's bills will be paid. That's something members take on faith.

Family To Family

James Lansberry, the vice president ofSamaritan Ministries, says the concept is simple. First there's a $170 annual fee to cover Samaritan's administrative costs. His nonprofit group then compiles members' health care bills and tells its 14,000 households where to send their monthly checks.

"The money doesn't get received at our central office — it goes directly from one family to another," Lansberry says. "So each month I send my monthly share of $285 directly to another family."

Being a Christian means walking by faith. And we believe that God is ultimately in control of everything, and that things work best when you go his way.

That's all it costs for Lansberry, his wife and their seven children to be in the program. That's a fraction of what a typical health insurance policy would cost.

Carl Bobb of Strasburg, Colo., says he's been using Samaritan for six years, and getting his medical bills paid is relatively easy.

"When we have a payment due on something, we'll pay what the minimum is — that they'd like us to pay that day," Bobb says. "[Then] we submit it to Samaritan. And within 30 days, we get our claims processed through Samaritan, and checks start coming in from folks."

Bobb says often there's a note included with the check offering encouragement and prayers.

Faith-Based Policies

Chris and Mary Miller from Oakland, Ill., recently watched a Samaritan Ministries presentation at a church outside Denver. They're self-employed farmers and are thinking about giving up their current health insurance.

"We spend about $15,000 a year on health care premiums," Chris Miller says.

In addition to the potential of saving money, Mary Miller says she likes Samaritan's promise that no money will ever be used to pay for an abortion. And she says she isn't worried about giving up the security of traditional insurance.

James Lansberry, vice president of Samaritan Ministries, says his company's method of health care sharing is simple: "The money ... goes directly from one family to another."

"Being a Christian means walking by faith. And we believe that God is ultimately in control of everything, and that things work best when you go his way," she says.

Religion is a large part of Samaritan's business model. Members need a pastor's signature just to join. And there are restrictions.

If a member contracts a sexually transmitted disease outside of marriage, Samaritan members won't pay the associated health care costs.

For the group's main program, benefits are capped at $100,000. If overall costs start to outpace the amount of money coming in, members vote to raise their monthly contributions.

No Guarantee

Underneath everything — including the lack of government regulation — is a warning: Samaritan and other groups like it never guarantee that an individual's bills will be covered.

Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Joel Ario says that's something people should carefully consider before signing up. While he admires the concept of individuals helping each other, Ario says this is not like the insurance policies most people are accustomed to.

"The insurance product is a legal obligation of the insurance company, and it will be there even if the claims you have turn out to be very large in nature," Ario says.

Groups like Samaritan Ministries are keeping a close watch on health care legislation in Congress. The big question is whether they'll win an exemption from health insurance mandates for their members. Because if their members are forced to buy insurance anyway, there's little reason to contribute to Samaritan's insurance alternative, too.

Currently, the Senate-passed bill includes the exemption. The House-passed bill does not.

Palestinian "Day of Rage" passes with low-key local outbreaks
DEBKAfile Special Report March 16, 2010, 8:57 PM (GMT+02:00)

Tags:  intifada    Jerusalem    Palestinians

Jerusalem on high alert for Palestinian violence

No Palestinian or Israeli Arab masses showed up in Jerusalem for the Day of Rage, Tuesday, March 15, called by Fatah, Hamas and Israeli Muslim leaders in a bid to stir up a third uprising (intifada) against Israel.

No more than 500 teenagers were out on the streets of half a dozen Palestinian enclaves in Jerusalem, hurling rocks, rolling burning tires and blocking roads against the thousands of Israeli police armed with tear gas and rubber bullets ranged against them.

Around 14 policemen and three dozen Palestinians were injured in clashes - none seriously, and 60 arrested. One police officer was injured in the single shooting attack of the day at Ras al-Amud.
Police commissioner Dudi Cohen said reinforced
Jerusalem units would stay on alert for more outbreaks until after the Muslim Friday prayers on Temple Mount. He hoped normal life would return to Jerusalem by next Sunday, March 21.

The slogan of a Third Uprising made a snappy headline, nothing more, he said.

The riots scarcely seeped over into the
West Bank. In Hebron, the Palestinian Authority's US-trained security force drove a flying wedge between would-be rioters and Israeli troops.

Monday, Halil al Haya, speaking for the ruling Hamas in the Gaza Strip said "rivers of blood must flow," while the radical Muslim leaders of the Israeli Arab communities threatened to descend on Jerusalem in force.

DEBKAfile's counter-terror sources report that a group of Israeli Muslim leaders were admitted to Temple Mount Tuesday and prayed at al Aqsa and some of their followers joined the Palestinian rioters. But two buses packed with Palestinian sympathizers heading forJerusalem
were turned back by police roadblocks on Galilee and central Israeli highways.

In a bid to bring out the masses, Abu Ala, former Palestinian prime minister and peace negotiator with the Olmert government, and Hatem Abdul Qader, head of the Jerusalem desk in the Palestinian Authority, said Monday the Day of Rage must be the opening shot for a fresh uprising (intifada) against Israel.

In rabid anti-Semitic diatribes, they again accused "the Jews" of "plotting to seize al Aqsa" in order to build their Third Temple. All Jewish claims of an ancestral connection to Jerusalem"was one big lie," they said for rewriting Muslim history.

There never was a Hurva (Ruin) Synagogue in the Old City, said these Fatah spokesmen, referring to the 300-old synagogue, rebuilt and rededicated Monday, March 15, on the ruins of the Jewish house of worship and community center the Jordanians destroyed during their 19-year presence in the Old City up until 1967.

The structure was restored stone by stone according to the photos and plans of the old building.
Palestinian leaders took encouragement from the Obama administration's harsh campaign against
Israel as their big chance to embark on another violent war of "resistance" to Israel. They believed the Jewish state was in such bad odor with its best friend, America, that it would be held by the entire world responsible for the violence.

According to
DEBKAfile's military sources, Mahmoud Abbas stood up to the pressure of his colleagues to let PA security forces off the leash. Instead, he ordered them to keep would-be rioters in check.

YES WE TOLD YOU SO

One Thousand Years: Genesage "Consultation" (Chp 8:8)

One Thousand Years

Genesage

“Consultation"

(Chp 8:8)

Looking down at the bird, Thomas felt ridiculous.

There on the ground, a little bird, trying to encourage him. If anyone asked, he would have said “a little birdie told me” but at this moment it seemed trite. But there it was tilting it's head from one side to the other.

Of course really having a little birdie tell you something was a whole lot different that imagining one do it.  Having it speak to him made him feel bird brained himself.

It was all surreal.

"Do not be afraid Thomas Mankind.”

“Some have come to learn,

others to see what has happened,

some to help,

some to say goodbye to PlantKind

Rose l'eben."

The bird spoke as it appeared to chirp but all Thomas really heard was the words.

"We all know she is gone. All of us felt her passing from us.  It was felt in the Land. EarthKind told us where, only you can tell us how."

“ It is for you to tell. We will listen”

The voice was calm and soothing and Thomas found himself liking the bird the more he/she spoke.

Seeing the words come from the little swallow like sparrow made the scene seem dreamt. In sixty-nine years most of the occurrences in Thomas life up till now had been pretty mundane and sedate. Now here he was at the zoo with a bird talking to him about a bush.

Something was wrong with this picture.

From the first day he had met Eben till now it mostly had been to merely adapt to the "greenie" way of doing things. That was how he felt it was like. The Green Peace, the greenies, the tree huggers, the Earth Friendly, he even thought at times it was a cult come true. Except Eben said no, it wasn’t like that.

It had taken him time to re-evaluate what he thought was very close to an old world earth cult to the actual Word of God. He learned that comparison was really was an injustice to what the Kingdom Of Heaven was in the Land of Promise.

He had accepted living in a dwelling place that seemed more grown than built.  And as long as it had not talked to him he was fine.  He never saw any strange weird abnormal things about the house really. Only that it was a hybrid type living arrangement and he felt like a symbiot. It could have been a topiary house.

He benefited from the way the plantlike structure grew, and it seemed to adapt to him. He never talked to it. It never talked to him. No animals had even said any words to him. At least not till today.   He had not gone out of his way to find out what some already knew about the Kingdom.

Thomas had just minded his own business and stayed low key and quiet till now.

Day to day classes had added normalcy and routines. Later when the Fruit trees had grown he had helped pick them as well as tend the gardens. All he really had to do all these years was collect the fruit.  This lack of stimuli mentally helped heal him of much he had suffered. He hadn't realized there was a lot he was missing out on till now. So much of life going on all around him.  He never suspected the things that he was no beginning to realize were true, like Rose.

Apparently also he had missed the fact the animals, or at least these animals in the Kingdom could speak. They knew how to communicate. Though sixty-nine years had passed of a pretty quiet lifestyle, he wasn't completely freed from the horrors he had seen. Those memories had entrapped him. Time had healed and he was making up for lost time as he was well on the way to accept the extraordinaire in the Land. He had to.

It looked like NOW he was being overwhelmed by it.

Just then as if sensing his emotion, the Sparrow like swallow hopped once, twice, thrice, then flew to his shoulder. It perched there like a parrot. Starting to think that this was crazy, the sparrow whispered in his ear,

"Trust Me. It will be ok. Tell them everything."

Suddenly Thomas was fine; his humor got the best of him.  He wished he had a camera or a movie of this because he thought it must look ridiculous. He laughed and the if he could have known the AnimalKind better, he would have realized that laughter and joy made all AnimalKind content. Laughter was like music to an Animalkin.

But Thomas did not know this. He was laughing at himself.

"How do you know it will be ok?",

he mocked at himself in his mind.

"Because a little birdie whispered it in my ear….,",

Laughing all he could think of is that somebody upstairs, downstairs or sidestairs must have had a sense of humor when he let mankind loose on creation. The very thought of a little bird whispering in his ear kept coming to his mind over and over again and he couldn't help the giddiness and giggles.

Feeling better he proffered his hand to the Swallow like sparrow and carried it over to Caleb who, shocked look and all, took the bird on his hand and began chirping at it.

He didn't know Caleb could talk to the animals.

"Figures,"

thought Thomas,

“ birds of a feather….,"

and with that he was ready to confront his fears.

Israel planning to destroy al Aksa'

By KHALED ABU TOAMEH
17/03/2010 03:18

Martyrs Brigades calls on PA to release jailed "fighters" to "defend J'lem."

The armed wing of Fatah, the Aksa Martyrs Brigades, on Tuesday called on the Palestinian Authority to give back the weapons it had confiscated from the group’s gunmen so that they could participate in the “Jerusalem Intifada.” The call came as both the PA and Hamas continued to accuse Israel of planning to destroy the mosques on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

“We call on all the Palestinian security services in the West Bank to release all Palestinian fighters from prison and to give them back their weapons so that they can join their people in defending Jerusalem against Israeli aggression,” the armed group, which was supposed to have been dismantled years ago in line with understandings between the PA and the US, said in a leaflet distributed in Ramallah.

Under the terms of the understandings reached about three years ago, hundreds of members of the Aksa Martyrs Brigades handed over their weapons to the PA in return for promises that Israel would stop pursuing them and that they would be recruited as policemen in the various security forces.

Israel has since then pardoned dozens of Fatah gunmen who agreed to turn over theirweapons and refrain from involvement in terror activities.

This was the first time since then that the Fatah group had called on the PA to return theweapons so that its gunmen could resume armed attacks on Israel.

The group also called on its members to “resist Israeli attempts to turn Jerusalem into a Jewish city and to respond to the series of Israeli assaults on Islamic and Christian holy sites.”

Although the PA leadership has been calling on Palestinians to demonstrate against Israel’s alleged scheme to destroy the mosques on the Temple Mount, Palestiniansecurity forces have banned street protests in many Palestinian cities, eyewitnesses told The Jerusalem Post.

They quoted PA security officials as saying that demonstrations were only allowed in areas under Israeli control, including Jerusalem, and that there was no need to protest inside Palestinian cities in the West Bank.

Hatem Abdel Kader, a top Fatah official in Jerusalem and the former PA minister forJerusalem Affairs, confirmed that the PA security forces were stopping Palestinians from demonstrating in many parts of the West Bank.

Abdel Kader said that the PA and several Palestinian factions were preventing the Palestinians from venting their anger and frustration over Israel’s measures inJerusalem, including the inauguration of the Hurva Synagogue and plans to build new homes in Jewish neighborhoods in the city.

The Fatah official said that divisions between Fatah and Hamas were also torpedoing Palestinian efforts to launch a new intifada and stand united against Israel.

Hamas and Fatah have already begun referring to the recent wave of violence as al-Quds (Jerusalem) Intifada.

Abdel Kader told Post that he later received a phone call from Tayeb Abdel Rahim, an aide to PA President Mahmoud Abbas, threatening to punish him for stating that the PA was preventing anti-Israel demonstrations in its areas.

“This man thinks he’s the military governor of the West Bank,” Abdel Kader said. “Instead of dealing with the important issue of Jerusalem, Abbas’s office is threatening to punish me for telling the truth. They forgot that I’m an elected member of parliament and that I’m in charge of the Jerusalem portfolio in Fatah.”

The PA leadership in the West Bank on Tuesday sent copies of a letter to members of the Quartet – the US, EU, UN and Russia – urging them to intervene to stop Israel from “creating new facts on the ground, particularly in Jerusalem.” Chief Negotiator Saeb Erekat headed with the letters to Moscow, where representatives of the Quartet are scheduled to meet next week. The letter accuses Israel of continuing to expand existing settlements and claims that Israeli authorities are working to “Judaize” Jerusalem.

Abbas Zaki, a member of the Fatah Central Committee, predicted that the violence, which broke out in Jerusalem in the past few days, would escalate “if Israel insisted on pursuing its scheme to rebuild the so-called Temple Mount.”

Zaki and several Fatah and PA officials have in recent days claimed that the inauguration of the newly renovated synagogue in the Old City of Jerusalem was part of a conspiracy aimed at destroying the Aksa Mosque.

“The battle for Jerusalem is the battle of all Palestinians and Arabs, regardless of their religion,” Zaki said. “We are facing huge challenges that need to be confronted.”

Hamas also urged Palestinians on Tuesday to step up the protests against Israel’s measures in Jerusalem. The appeal came after the Islamist movement called for a day of “rage” in Jerusalem on Tuesday to protest plans to build new homes in Ramat Shlomo and the inauguration of the old synagogue.

The armed wing of Hamas, Izaddin al-Kassam, said recent events in Jerusalem will lead to “a new explosion in the face of the Zionist entity.” The group called on the PA to stop security coordination with Israel and to allow armed gangs to resume terror attacks against Israelis.

Ahmed Bahr, a senior Hamas official in the Gaza Strip, called for a “military strike” against Israel. He claimed that Israel had just built a synagogue on the Temple Mount as part of its plan to destroy the Aksa Mosque. He also called on the Arab countries to withdraw their support for holding indirect talks between Israel and the PA.

IDF watches for signs of W. Bank uprising

By YAAKOV KATZ AND YAAKOV LAPPIN

Security officials say chances that a third intifada will erupt are still unlikely.

The chances that a third intifada will erupt are unlikely as long as the Palestinian Authority does not give an official order to its security forces to engage in terrorist activity against Israel, security officials said on Tuesday as police clashed with rioters in east Jerusalem.

The Central Command has been holding daily operational assessments in an effort to foresee if the riots in Jerusalem will spread to the West Bank. On Tuesday, the IDF received an encouraging sign after the PA instructed its security forces to prevent violence in the West Bank and ensure that quiet prevails in Palestinian cities.

The Central Command, officials said, was keeping a close eye on the territories to ensure that they do not erupt into violent demonstrations like those in the beginning of the second intifada in October 2000.

With the current military manpower stationed in the West Bank, the IDF is prepared to contain isolated demonstrations like the ones that erupted in February in Hebron following the government’s decision to list the Cave of the Patriarchs in the West Bankcity as a heritage site.

The IDF, however, is concerned with two scenarios that could lead to an uprising in theWest Bank – extreme violence in Jerusalem including several Palestinian deaths, or a potential Jewish terror attack against a Palestinian target in the West Bank.

Police Insp.-Gen. David Cohen said on Tuesday following a tour of the Old City in Jerusalem that a third intifada was unlikely to break out in the near future despite efforts by some organizations to incite Muslims to violence.

“There is a unique fabric of life here,” Cohen said, describing the Old City. “Quiet needs to be safeguarded, both from the Muslim and the Jewish sides in the area,” he added.

Police will continue to deploy across the capital in increased numbers until Friday, Cohen said, adding that by next week, normal routine should resume.  Speaking a few hours earlier at Ofakim during an annual sum-up of  the Southern district’s working year, Cohen said tensions surrounding the Temple Mount created “not only a national challenge but also an international challenge.”

“Our job is to keep a relative calm and to allow freedom of worship to all three religions,” Cohen said. “But there are signs of elements attempting to cause disturbances. We have made massive preparations and we will continue to remain on stand-by until Friday,” he added.  “The incitement we have seen from last Friday until today shows that our deployment was correct.”

Both of these stories have been picked up by bible sites.

Both are pure propaganda.

They are exaggerated to make you think something that is not true.

Both “stories” are used by opposite political parties.
