Mark Driscoll Pokes Fun at Liberty University 'Kerfuffle'

Mars Hill Church founding pastor Mark Driscoll responded to controversy over being chosen as a guest speaker at Liberty University in Virginia by poking fun at the apparent inaccuracy of a blogger who claimed the megachurch pastor was not welcome at the campus.

Gay Activists Call Obama 'Coward' Over Failure to Sign Executive Order

Komen Announces Plans to Fund 17 Planned Parenthood Affiliates

Earlier this year the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure announced they would no longer contribute to Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider, after it was revealed they were the subject of a government inquiry. But after caving to intense pressure, the group reversed their decision and now plans to financially support at least 17 PP affiliates in 2012.

A new translation of the Bible into English does not contain the name "Jesus Christ" nor the word "angel." It also prefers the word "emissary" over "apostle."

A Coca Cola subsidiary making a vitamin drink removed its four-story ad featuring a half-naked woman from a Manhattan hotel building after the pastor of a church across the street sent just four tweets to the company objecting to it.

Much of the media has been discussing Mitt Romney's "women voters problem." Polling expert and political analyst Stuart Rothenberg points out, though, that the media was selective in their choice of data. A more thorough analysis reveals that Romney may have a bigger problem with male voters than female ones.

Thousands Witness 'Holy Fire' Miracle in Jerusalem

Thousands of Christians from around the world gathered in Jerusalem's Church of the Holy Sepulcher Saturday to witness a flame that is believed to emerge miraculously from the tomb of Jesus a day before Easter, according the older Julian calendar, each year.
