News From Israeli Independent News (Commentary)
Doing Israel’s bidding, the White House blocked a joint initiative by France, Britain, and Germany to present the Quartet with final status solution for Jewish-Muslim conflict. Which is wrong. Abbas’ government would have never accepted Israeli towns in the West Bank and abandoned the refugees’ right of return. Without doubt, both those conditions were present in the initiative. By allowing the initiative to go through, Israel would have shown the Arab intransigency and the futility of outside efforts to settle the conflict. Then we would have a chance to be left alone for some years. |
After several years of rapprochement brokered by the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, the Muslim Brotherhood seems about to renew its traditional enmity toward the ayatollahs. In Egypt, the Brotherhood is firmly entrenched and poised to sweep the next elections. As such, it has no need for Iranian money, and will resent Iranian influence in southern Egypt and Sinai. The Brotherhood is on the verge of leading the government, and the last thing it wants now is Iran influencing Egypt through Bedouins and small terrorist groups. In Syria, the Brotherhood operates against Assad despite Iran’s objections. The rift is so great that Iran blames Saudi Arabia for inciting the Brotherhood. A supranational Sunni organization, the Muslim Brotherhood may become the largest and most influential opponent of Iran’s regional hegemony. | |
The Debka has confirmed the Saudis’ procurement of nuclear-capable Chinese CSS-5 missiles. Earlier, the US welcomed the Saudis’ mammoth dual-use nuclear program and accepted the Saudis’ decision to render their nuclear bombs from Pakistan. The Saudis now own a certain number of nuclear devices in return for financing the Pakistani nuclear program. Apparently, Saudis do not share the opinion, which we also hold, that Iran’s nuclear program is harmless in itself and Iran will only brandish its nukes rather than using them. When trigger-happy Muslims square off against each other in Iran and Saudi Arabia, a nuclear exchange would not be impossible. If the Iranians incite riots among Saudi shiites who sit atop the kingdom’s oil fields, the royal family would have little to lose by launching a nuclear exchange. Unless Israel destroys the Iranian nuclear program, Egypt and Saudi Arabia will soon go nuclear. Another drawback of Iranian nuclearization would be Saudi Arabia’s annexation of Kuwait and the UAE similarly to Bahrain. That would leave no strategically important American presence in the Middle East. |
The Syrian autocrat has promised to repeal the old emergency laws within days. That would leave Israel as the only country around with the Mandate-era administrative detention laws. His move will not satisfy the crowds because their real demands are for his removal and the release of political prisoners, most of whom are members of the Muslim Brotherhood. But short of emergency provisions, Assad will find it significantly harder to fight the rioters. | Isaac Herzog of the Labor Party rushed to deny the WikiLeaks revelation that he opposedMajadle’s appointment to the Labor list because an Arab would weaken the party. Why deny the obvious facts? Of course, even leftist voters hate Arabs, and support for Labor decreased with the inclusion of Majadle. |
Despite the ceasefire with Gaza, two Grad rockets hit Ashdod over the weekend. The attacks have been blamed on Salafists, and IDF only nominally retaliated against Gazan targets in recognition of Hamas’ inability to control the Wahhabist groups. Which is not true. When Salafists challenged Hamas’ rule two years ago, the moderate terrorists stormed their mosque, killing or wounding every Salafist inside. It took the Salafists more than a year to return to their former strength. Israel has to decide whether we will deal with Gaza as a state—and pound it in response to any attacks from there—or a lawless territory whose nominal government cannot be held responsible for all domestic acts of violence, in which case Israel is legally permitted to take over the place. We tried that in the West Bank: we pretended that Fatah terrorists are good and cooperative, and cannot be held responsible for Hamas attacks. Now we are taking a similar approach to Gaza. Israel’s attitude invites established terrorist groups to tolerate violent offshoots: they score PR points by allowing attacks on Israel to be carried out by other groups under their control, and do not risk Israeli retaliation. Even if Israel wants to discriminate between good Hamas and bad Salafists, we still have plenty of Salafist targets, including their mosques. And even if we do not want to target their mosques in daytime (though they have no compunction about targeting our civilians) we can destroy the empty buildings at night. |

TAKE IT SERIOUSLY
EVERYONE at "The Biblical Christian Digital Network" takes News seriously. You should to. Serious enough to realize that ALL NEWS and ALL NEWS SERVICES are biased and opionated. That is a fact; that will not change no matter where you get your news or read it from.
IT IS INHERENTLY OPINIONATED.
This is News for some but there is no such thing as Fair and Balanced or Fact news.
When human beings are involved it means we all see things differently at times. News outside of America admits it is biased; News in America in the last 75 years has tried to "market" the idea of "journalistic integrity" when since before America became a nation it has been the venue of News to express opinion. Often as in media, owned and operated by "Newsservices" for political reason.
It is up to you what you see; what you hear and what you understand.
The Only Facts For a Christian is The Word of God.
You control what you see; Be Carful how you read a story. You control what you hear; Be careful what and who you are listening to. You control what you understand; be mindful of God to direct your understanding.
In all things remember; you control how you act upon them; don't react to them.
