"Legacy" Legacy Posts will be presented in Weekly Formats Begining in May and starting ASAP posts as part of our "Legacy Series" will be posted on Monday AM for the Week. Some of the Classics will post a Sun-Sat; others will be Mon-Fri. This "note" or one similar to it will proceed all Last Call posts for the remainder of this year; 2011. The benefit to the reader is to have a "weeks" worth of Devotions to Read. As a "free ministry" the Network has exapnded globally and this is a adjustment to grow with that need. The "Current" Series of Devotions will begin to follow the same format. It is likely that many in the "Current" series will be on a One week delay. MORNING To him that soweth righteousness shall
We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. I have fought a good fight, I have finishedmy course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. PROV. 11. 18. Mat. 25. 19-21. 2 Co. 5. 10.
| EVENING God is faithful.
God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: that by two immutable things, in which it wasimpossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.--Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.--Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will doit.--All the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 1 COR. 10. 13. Nu. 23. 19.--He. 7. 21.

MORNING Be strong and of a good courage.
If God be for us, who can be against us?--The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?--Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.--We are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with thee. JOS. 1. 18. Ps. 27. 1.--Is. 40. 29-31.--
| EVENING Our friend sleepeth.
If the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: and if Christ be not raised, your faith isvain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.--Now is Christ risen from the dead, andbecome the firstfruits of them that slept. It came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORDspake unto Joshua, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, . . . and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.--This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.--Witnesses chosen before of God, . . . who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. JOHN 11. 11. 1 Th. 4. 13, 14.

MORNING Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit
The Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me.--God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.--There is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.--He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. MAT. 25. 34. Lu. 12. 32.--Ja. 2. 5.--
| EVENING Riches are not for ever: and doth the
They do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.--We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.--To him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.--There is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.--A crown of glory that fadeth not away. PRO. 27. 24. Ps. 39. 6. Col. 3. 2.--

MORNING Isaac went out to meditate in the field
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; what is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?--The works of the LORD aregreat, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.--This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night.--My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: when I remember thee upon my bed, andmeditate on thee in the night watches. GEN. 24. 63. Ps. 19. 14. Ps. 8. 3, 4.-- | EVENING How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD!
Thou shalt not be forgotten of me. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins. Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.--A woman . . . cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David! But he answered her not a word. The trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth. PSA. 13. 1. Ja. 1. 17.--Is. 49. 14, 15.Is. 44. 21, 22. John 11. 5, 6.-- Mat. 15. 22, 23. 1 Pe. 1. 7. |

MORNING My God shall supply all your need
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.--The LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no goodthing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.--The living God . . . giveth us richly all things to enjoy.--God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. PHIL. 4. 19. Mat. 6. 33.--Ro. 8. 32.-- | EVENING What communion hath light with
Darkness hath blinded his eyes.--Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. The dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.--Love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. Ye were sometimes darkness, but noware ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. 2 COR. 6. 14. John. 3. 19.--1 Th. 5. 5. |
April 2 Saturday MORNING
If ye do return unto the LORD with all
Thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.--Serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.--Man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.--Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 1 SAM. 7. 3. 1 John 5. 21.--2 Co. 6. 17, 18.--
EVENING
When the Son of man cometh, shall he
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. Of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.--Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching.--Looking for that blessed hope, . . . the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. LUKE 18. 8. John 1. 11.--1 Ti. 4. 1.
