One Thousand Years: Genesage "Perfect Timing" (Chapter 10:11)

“Perfect Timing"

(Chapter 10:11)

Delilah scolded him forcefully.

And that was being polite about it.

She was much older than Ezravivor and realized many years ago he really was inexperienced when it came to women. She was from the Old World and He was from the New. She full of experiences and he fresh and new as a new born lamb full grown. At first she had thought it would make her a “cougar” but with Ezravivor it felt more like cradle robbing.

Of course she wouldn’t admit HER feelings on the subject.

Ezravivor stood up.

His brawny shoulders looked dejected. His robe was dripping wet and looking soggy. He was the epitome of rejection and he sadly walked up out of the water dripping on the rock as he went. So much for a perfect moment. But he had been through bad timing before. He knew he just had to try ..try again…. and one day he would get the timing right.

This was not the right timing….obviously.

Delilah thought, how pathetic.

She saw how miserable he looked and pitied him in some ways. She almost felt bad for how she treated him, almost. There was still a prt of her that just would not give an inch.

Still, he looked so sad and…,

Suddenly Ezravivor grabbed both her arms and holding them tightly to her sides he leaned in and didn't mash her lips this time.

He kissed her hard.  He felt her lips, her teeth, her mouth, on his. He felt the startled parting of them as if in protest,  and as he did he lifted her straight up and cast her as hard and as far as he could from him.

Fortunately she sailed fairly well.

Even more fortunate was the fact that Ezravivor was fairly strong. He was used to throwing things away from him.  After all he did have a brother. They did tend to wrestle.

Fortunate also was the fact that Delilah had her back to the water and Ezravivor paid enough attention to throw her in the general direction of it. She didn’t land on anything hard, just wet.

It was also in Delilah's favor that no one was around watching because as she was kissed, she had slightly lost her breath and concentration. For a moment she almost gave into the pressure of his mouth on hers.  So when he had cast her, at that moment she had no balance, no sense of direction, and had flailed her legs and arms like a cartwheel in the air till she landed in a deeper part of the water.

One moment romance, next all wet, felt right to Ezravivor.

Perfect Timing.

Sputtering gasping and mad as only Delilah could be she stood up from the water yelling at him. Standing with hands on hips, dripping wet, she stomped in the water and splashed even more. Her robe now was more than form fitting and Ezravivor couldn't stop laughing at her as she continued her tirade. And that had to have lasted an hour or more, or so it seemed.

He also admired her at the same time tilting his head in mock interest. He even looked he up and down like he had seen his father do to his mother. He watched her and couldn't help but notice every jiggle and wiggle and bounce as every punctuation point that she stomped mad at him about only made her look more ridiculous and frankly desirable.

Finally having had enough laughing he waded in after her.

She was ready for him.

When he got close the right hook she threw he ducked under. The kick at him was caught by her wet robe. He got closer so as she tried to get away he caught her easily by the arm pulling her close to him. Again wisdom the better part of valor he held her arms powerfully at her side as he kissed her again.

He finally kissed  her as a man kisses a woman.

Delilah melted. Her resolve was gone. She went limp and Ezravivor released her arms.  Even as they repositioned for comfort standing in each other’s arms, they embraced again and kissed. Full bodied embrace and long kiss Delilah had decided right then and there it was time her and Ezravivor married.

He had grown up.

This was no boy kissing her. She could feel it in him. This was a powerful man coming into his own and it was time. Perfect Timing. She was more than ready to have a man in her life.

That man would be Ezravivor.

Others had married of the Genifers, the first generation of those born in the Kingdom and Ezravivor was in his thirties. She had asked him once about ten years earlier who or why he had not married. He had said one day He would marry her. She had laughed at him then had not talked to him after that for almost three years.

Still he had waited faithfully like a little puppy in love.

Apparently the puppy love grew up. He was still here, and now in her arms and on her lips.

Besides, thought Delilah as she powerfully and sensually kissed Ezravivor this time, he feels good.
