Esth.3 [7] In the first month, that is, the month Nisan
בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן, הוּא־חֹדֶשׁ נִיסָן
Passover, Unleavened bread, Firstfruits and Feast of Weeks are coming
Please read all the Chapters. You will find out many events happened today.
Exod.12[ 2] This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Exod.13[ 4] This day came ye out in the month Abib. הַיּוֹם, אַתֶּם יֹצְאִים , בְּחֹדֶשׁ, הָאָבִיב
Exod.23 [15] Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
Exod.34[ 18] The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib : for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.
Deut.16[ 1] Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.

Ezek.3[ 15] Then I came to them of the captivity at Tel-abib , that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.

From an unused root (meaning to be tender); green, that is a young ear of grain; hence the name of the month Abib or Nisan: - Abib, ear, green ears of barley.
BDB Definition:
1) fresh, young barley ears, barley
2) month of ear-forming, of greening of crop, of growing green Abib, month of exodus and passover (March or April)

Gen.8[ 13] And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month , the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

Lev.23[ 5] In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD's passover.

[5] And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.

Esth.3[ 7] In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.
[12] Then were the king's scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written according to all that Haman had commanded unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king's ring.
Neh.2[ 1] And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.
Ezek.29[ 17] And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month , in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

[21] In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.
Dan.10[ 4] And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;
Joel.2[ 23] Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month .
