Question posted in Yahoo! Answers: Do you think we should give money to the poor or should we tell them they should go look for a job. I know times are tough but someone told me we should not give them money as this doesn’t solve their problem. But aren’t we supposed to look after the ones that can’t look after themselves.
The Question is : How personal do you want to get?
Jesus warned us if we would do all as unto Him, We might be entertaining angels unawares...,
People tell me then that someone will use you, abuse you, confuse you...., well maybe.
Or God will enthuse you with the idea, In as much as you ahve done it to the least of these you have done it unto me.
God doesn't are if the Vessel He uses for our benenfit to show kindness is enabled, scamming or sincere, the question is: If that person were Jesus would you leave him on the Street?
No of course not, you would bring them Home, invite your friends, have a meal, talk, get to know each other, go from there.
The point is personal.....
Is Jesus personal to you?
Is your Charity...a show ........or a place to get to know someone who might be there just for you to talk to and get "real" with.
If you were doing it to Jesus......
You Know want to do.
