The Masterpiece

The Masterpiece: (pictured right) The Book of Revelation is a storybook. It takes the reader from the scene of Christ’s glory as the Father’s High Priest in his heavenly temple to the final temple called “New Jerusalem” where His Bride will dwell eternally with Him. The Book of Revelation is the “masterpiece” of all Biblical stories. It begins with His glory and ends with His saints’ glory. At the beginning of this story, He walks in the midst of His church, but in the end, His church walks in the midst of New Jerusalem, the most spectacular city ever dreamed of. The Bride of Christ is the Joy of God’s Heart. This grand company of His saints are also the joy of the Bridegroom and He gave His life to set them apart from this world. The Believers of this compromised generation have little understanding of the God-fearing company of the past that lived and died for His praise. The words of Apostle Paul when writing to the Hebrew Church gave us a picture of some of these faithful souls. It’s evident that these warriors were fed up with the world and set like a beam to finish their race with joy.

Lot Pitched His Tent Toward Sodom: This Unclean World Is A Dangerous Place To Live

I have never seen anyone pitch their tent toward Sodom that did not soon dwell in Sodom. The next point with Lot was he sat in the gate of Sodom. The Sodomites had voted him to be on the city council. Then came the utter destruction of his family by the unclean lifestyle that Lot had led them to live. Here was a great nephew of the great father of faith. Every potential for success was squarely at Lot’s feet. No one ever speaks of Lot without tying his name to Sodom and Gomorrah, while no one ever speaks of Abraham without remembering the ‘Promise Land.’ A powerful uncle and his sad, defeated nephew!

The result of choices are always unforgettable. A few souls have made bad choices but woke up and turned around. The Prodigal Son came home empty but he did come home just in time. Judas Iscariot could not have had a better beginning, but then choose the route to hell. Look at King Saul, head and shoulder above his peers. He even prophesied after he was anointed and for a while pursued the right road. Once he pitched his tent toward error, he never turned back. Seeking advise from the witch of Endor was his last resort. He was already a dead man when he left her hideout.

Lot probably never smiled again after he watched the lovely wife of his youth turn back to Sodom. A great man’s wife is the right arm of happiness. Sons, daughters, grandsons, and granddaughters were so bound to the sin city of dad’s choice that they laughed him to shame as he pleaded for their departure with him. The two daughters that fled the city brought more shame than those that burned to death. Lot has got to be the most shamed man in the First Testament.

War in Heaven: Satan Cast Out

Can you imagine the fury of Satan as he knows that he is about to be cast out of the mid-Heaven? He was created as one of the most beautiful of all the angels. From truth in the Word of God, it is believed that he was the Music Director of the heavenly host. The Son of God clearly stated that He beheld him when he was thrust out of the immediate presence of the Father. Since that awesome occasion, he has been the “the prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2). He directs all evil powers from that location.

The Rapture of the Church will occur immediately before Satan is cast down to the earth. Actually, the two supernatural moments are almost simultaneous. This explains the ferocious attack that Satan is waging against the Pre-Tribulation Rapture. It’s time we labeled the many enemies of the Rapture with clear Biblical facts. Every attack on the Rapture is an attack that is planned by the devil himself. The Word of God could not have said it any more plainly, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:3)..

Seven Lamps of Fire Burning: Learning The Seven Offices Of The Holy Spirit

THERE IS AN INVASION OF SATANIC POWERS AND YOU ARE NO MATCH FOR THEM. Our one hope in this infested environment is the Restrainer whom the Bible identifies as the Holy Spirit. The person of the Holy Spirit is the third dynamic and divine member of our Eternal Godhead. To rightly recognize His offices in the Trinity is to trust God with a fresh vibrancy. Most Christians have heard numerous sermons on the Father and the Son but few on the Holy Spirit. Yet, everything the Father and the Son present in life or redemption is manifest in the church and to the saints by the Spirit. God the Father is on His throne and God the Son is seated at His right hand. The Spirit dwells in the church and in the temple of believers and fills the Universe. THESE WORDS FROM REVELATION CHAPTER FOUR,VERSE FIVE IS A PICTURE OF THE HOLY GHOST FROM HEAVEN’S POINT OF VIEW.

Jesus Christ was most enthusiastic about returning to Heaven and promised that the Teacher and Comforter would be sent in His place. The Holy Spirit never exalts Himself but exalts the Father and the Son as Jesus promised. He must be honored by the Saints and given the mastery of our lives. Our total dependency on the Holy Ghost has one purpose and that is to allow Him to fulfill His offices assigned by the Father and the Son. We are warned not to quench Him, despise Him, grieve Him, or blaspheme Him. The ultimate sin is to blaspheme the Spirit and to do so is to be lost forever.

How can the saints be careful not to quench or grieve Him unless they understand His many wonderful expressions in our midst? A visitation of the Holy Ghost in today’s church gets scant attention from most in attendance. I remember when everyone honored a very whisper of His presence. The Antichrist has succeeded in providing a false anointing so cheap and giddy that it is laughable. This has resulted in a loss of the sense of the sacred. We need a shattering visitation that breaks the strongholds of religion without the fear of God. The Holy Spirit and His every inspiration must be held in the highest regard.
