My Prayer
Father
There is a place where it is safe
A place where hope springs eternal
Where love and laughter, peace and joy
The calm of the quiet, the silence of a tear
All of these find a home with you
That place O God is you.
When we pray
No matter what we say
Take us to that place O God
The place some call a cleft in the rock
And let us be alone with you
Today Father help us
To be alone with you.
